Jon Isaac Lutz is a musician, actor and
composer. He works in theatre, film and commercials as an actor, as well as performing as a musician on guitar, bass, harmonica and vocals.
Jon studied
classical guitar with Renato Butturi, jazz guitar and bass with Ron Pritchett
and double bass with Eric Sabo. He is literate in treble and bass clefts and proficient in a wide array of styles.
Jon returned to college to complete his degree at an age when many are planning for their retirement. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from USI and has appeared as an
actor in USI, Civic Theatre and New Harmony Theatre productions,
including "Threepenny Opera," "Pump Boys and Dinettes," "Raisin In The Sun," "A
Christmas Carol" and "Romeo and Juliet" and has composed music for
productions at Civic Theatre including "The Drawer Boy" and "A Midsummer
Night’s Dream."
He has appeared in independent films and has recently become a familiar figure on Evansville television in his role
as the “banker guy” in a series of highly successful commercials for Heritage
Federal Credit Union.
Lutz is an experienced pit musician
having performed in the orchestra for productions at
the Springer Opera House, Evansville Civic Theatre, New Harmony Theatre and others. Shows include, but not limited to, "Heartbeats," "Sweet and Hot," "Footloose," "Little Shop of Horrors," "The Wiz," "Swing," "Forever Plaid," "The Last Five Years," "Guys and Dolls," Pump Boys and Dinettes," "Always....Patsy Cline," "Godspell," and "The Honky Tonk Angels." |
